ABOUT

It's YOUR Life Coaching

What are you doing to make your life the best that it can be? What are the steps you are taking? How do you get the best life for you? What are you willing to do? How can we work together to get you your best life?

It’s YOUR Life Coaching is the culmination of a lifetime of learning and growing. Diane wants to see others grow and thrive no matter what their starting point is.

Diane has taught a program called “Heroes” for several years, and this has given her the profound insight that every single one of us is the hero in our own journey and have every opportunity to grow and thrive.  By working with some of the people with the most adversity and trauma, Diane has discovered that each one has unlimited capacity and ability to live the life of our dreams.  Diane’s Personal Mission Statement is:

“I am a person who will positively influence others and help them to become their best by listening to them and encouraging them.”

Diane created this Mission Statement over a decade ago, and it has never been more real to Diane than it is today.

A life coach is an advisor who helps people make decisions, set and reach goals, or deal with problems.  Being a life coach is this – and yet it is so much more!  A results-oriented life coach is someone who helps you identify your most important goals and develop an action plan to achieve them.  A life coach is someone professionally trained to help you maximize your full potential, deepen your most important relationships, and reach your desired results.  Life Coaches help people define their goals and passions so that they can become their best selves.  By connecting with a coach and showing the courage that only true authenticity shows, you can live your best life!

BIO

Diane Stevenson

Diane Stevenson was born in Calgary, Alberta. Her family moved to Red Deer, Alberta when she was young. She was raised in Red Deer and raised her own daughter there, and then moved to Calgary in 2000 when she decided to go back to school and get her Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge. She graduated with distinction (yay!!) in 2004 and hasn’t looked back.

Diane took up the sport of Fitness Kickboxing and decided she loved it so much she wanted to teach her own classes. In order to do this, she needed to get certified. Diane received her FIS Certification through CanFitPro in 2013.  Diane learned about the Certified Coaches Federation and because she felt so drawn to the idea of Life Coaching, she made the decision to take the certification. Diane became a Certified Life Coach in 2016 – and her Personal Mission Statement was brought closer to reality:

“I am a person who will positively influence others and help them to become their best by listening to them and encouraging them.”

Diane has been in the people business since she got her first job as a waitress in a truck stop when she was 15.  Pretty interesting for a first job, or any job for that matter.  You learn to look after yourself quickly.  Since then, the jobs that she has held have all been working with people in one capacity or another: 13 years in a number of positions in the banking industry, a chiropractic assistant, receptionist, server and in the mortgage industry as a licensed mortgage associate.  The diversity of these roles has helped Diane to have a deep understanding of people, what is holding them back, and how they can break through into their ideal lives.

Diane is a true believer in life-long learning, whether it be getting a degree, diploma or achieving a new certification. It could also be taking a course in something that interests you like painting, writing, social media, web design, etc. The list is only limited by your imagination. Expand your horizons.
